Prenuptial Agreements
A prenuptial agreement is a legally binding contract between two people who are getting married that can cover many aspects of the marriage. Often the prenuptial agreement provides how assets will be divided in the event of divorce or a spouse’s death. Prenuptial agreements can be especially useful when there are children from a prior relationship or there are family business interests. It is important that each spouse is represented by an attorney in the preparation and execution of the agreement.
